this music is utterly, utterly fucking-amazing. i found it as the soundtrack for an escaflowne AMV. the AMV was a van/hitomi focused affair, but i think the song far better suits dilandau's attitude towards van, at least if you're a hopeless yaoi girl like me.

in other news...
an article of my clothing got acronyms recently. this makes me happy. (the ASoC, referring to the Allmighty Shirt of Cleavage, a vinyl zip-up affair with a very low neckline, is the item in question.)
i decided that, if i had a breadbox, i would probably keep cthulhu in it, along with perhaps black body paint, nail polish, blood, etcetera.
i now know the very basics of programming in python.
my theories as to the changing waters in channelwood (this one's for all you myst freak[s] out there) are starting to solidify, in their own funky way. i might be writing fic soon. i already have fragments. bwahahahaha.
my roommate read my fragments of fluff-smut that i wrote recently (see pigtails in the first entry) and was made happy. cheese sauce rules.
i am wondering whether i might be able to make AMVs. i am also wondering whether this whole livejournal thing is a pointless venture of hubris that will alienate half my online friends because i swear. but mainly i'm noticing that this is a really good song. on the level of closer as far as dark love songs go, and given my associations with closer, that says a lot.
can't think of anything else to say right now. i hope ficness will happen. the muses are certainly noisy enough. i also have incredible amounts of shit i have to do that is getting procrastinated. eek.

Ah, so you found that video. And the music. Yes, it's good. Although I actually think that it reflects Hitomi more than Dilandau. I don't see how Dilandau would ever sacrifice himself for Van, or beg him for anything.
I'm actually planning on making an anime music video at some point. You need a computer with lots of space (dvd ripping), a relatively fast chip, and a video editing program. And the video itself, of course. ^.~ I just ordered a nice fast chip, so I'll splurge on an enormous harddrive if I start coming up with some ideas. In the meantime, I'm perfectly willing to start brainstorming with you.
And don't forget that you and the ASOC are coming over in three weeks. I'm just using you for your shirt, you know. *grins, ducks, runs*

i probably fail on most accounts for AMVs then. since i've only got 400 megahertz and 10 gigs of harddrive (most taken, although that will change once i start using my CD burner....moero, moero), and i can't read DVDs. maybe caroline could do it. *devious grin*

as for the song...how well it fits dilandau depends on how much change his character has gone through. let me just say that by the end of the scorpion in the mirror, it fits rather better. bwahahaha. fear my character-mangling.

Well, after I upgrade my computer, I'll have everything but the hard drive. And if I get some ideas, I'll buy a new one so I can do something.
