I am officially a total nerd now.

I have a part in a Star Trek fanfilm.

A fanseries, actually, that a friend of mine from MC is doing (Scath, for the 2.1 Fiends in the know, with help from T'vog and some other folks). I am the computer voice. *geeks*

I am also determinedly attempting to pull the second chapter of Lexicon of Serpents together. It's going slow. [livejournal.com profile] mctabby, I will need you badly when I'm done. I have a nagging suspicion the next two or three chapters may also go this slowly. Mrrrrrr.

Realized today that I am badly, badly behind on my author's responses to assorted reviews. Also mrrrr.

Sorted through books; halved the number I'm taking back to school. Which is good. Also discovered about five I was in the middle of reading. Again mrrrrr.

[livejournal.com profile] darkrosetiger, I think your birthday smut died. *whimpers* And, thus, [livejournal.com profile] cedar85, I really don't want to promise anything, because I have a bad habit of failing promises.

Ooooh, what wouldn't I do for more LoS? I'd write verse in your honor. I'd sacrifice small virtual animals. I'd lick your keyboard.

And you're a computer voice? Wow, geekity-geek-geek! :D

Excuse me, I have Slow Writers Anonymous meeting to attend...

*LOL*

But would you get on AIM? ;-)

Being the computer voice is a double-level geek thing. Like knitting a Ravenclaw scarf. Not only am I geekly enough to knit a Hogwarts house scarf, I'm geeky enough that I'm in Ravenclaw. ;-)

Alas, can't do AIM now. Tomorrow, around this time or a bit earlier?

*slurps Tom and Alastor*

Have added links to your TDA fics in the Riddlefics links section. :)

AIM, AIM, roly-poly AIM...

Maybe. I might be falling asleep, since this time is normally when I crash so as to wake up in time for work. But I try to catch you. :)

*cheers for links*

Hehe. I knit myself a Ravenclaw scarf (movie colors), and I'm doing one in book colors for a friend...

I think it makes me triple-geeky, though, that I'm also (eventually) going to knit myself a Slytherin scarf and a Gryffindor one. Not that I'm a Gryffindor, but it has the most "Oh, that's a Harry Potter scarf, right?" recognition value. ;)

By the way, I'm insanely jealous of your knitting speed. I've been working on this one for nearly a month and still only have 3 stripes done. :( But then, I get bored after about 5 rows.

Geekly knitters unite!

Well, I've been knitting on my two-hour-a-day train commute, and often for an hour in th evenings while Mum attempts to teach me the theory of calculus. I get into a sort of knitting trance after five rows and often don't stop until I have a stripe done. I like repetetive actions. Image

Mine's movie colors, and a little muted. But once I get it done I might make others for other friends. :)
