Requisite periodic "hey, I was dead" post

Intercon was AWESOME and then I died a bit.

Have been recovering from Intercon, being an obsessive video gamer, and still a bit high from how well our two games went. (Final word count for the Sound of Drums, btw: about 72,000. Still shorter than the first game I wrote. You'd think it'd be easier for me to write a standard novel and get my ass published, wouldn't you?)

Will be in New Orleans from tomorrow 'til Tuesday. I would ask about fun things to do there, but I'll be stuck with my family and probably won't be able to get anywhere.

In the meantime, my first video embed ever, because this made me laugh so hard that I HAD to share it. Vaguely not worksafe despite being cut together from worksafe stuff?

I miss that place dearly, I am so jealous. Of course, the last time I was there for Mardis Gras was pre-Katrina, so I might be in for a bit of a rude awakening the next time I go.
