I spent most of this last homeless month feeling really quite proud of myself. I was homeless, sure. Irregular computer access, difficulty job-hunting due to that. Lots of time spent reading Crowley, two-thirds out of wild curiosity, one-third to pass the time. The Intercon breakdown, yeah, and the recent introvert shock. But mostly very high-energy, very can-do. There was just this wellspring of strong, calm confidence that could carry me through anything. Will, I suppose.

And now that I have a place again? Back to my old lazy mindless self. Spent a fair portion of today either in bed or in the less brainy portions of the interwebs. Or petting the kitties.

Mmm, kitties.

Hope this isn't permanent. Must find that wellspring again. But I don't want to be up too late tonight; I shall go out in search of food and bathroom (toilet not installed yet) and return not too late and go straight to sleep.

Immediate focus:

- finish Grindeldore correspondence (already later than I promised people, aiii)

- fic website

- magical work (a varied list in and of itself)

- just to be clear, job search

So tomorrow, Craigslist, poke the Grindeldore, work on the website.

Man, I so totally know that cycle of motivatedness/laziness. I'm motivated when I'm desperate - otherwise I'm lazy. I've been trying to change this for years now, but I haven't figured out how to do so yet.
