I am legally insane. According to the car, at any rate.

Maya hates me. Rendering problems with my project. And I haven't finished animating all the shots yet and it's due Thursday. Voice concert tomorrow. Ah, the joys of singing extensively on what will probably be about ten hours of sleep within the past forty-eight. Voice teacher should be lynched for doing a spur-of-the-moment major concert right in the end-of-term crunch in a two-credit course, but at least it's a fun little torture device. And after I've turned in my 3D project on Thursday, I can start worrying about two piano performances, twenty zillion short papers, a short story, and a term paper.

Enough school wibbling. On to more important matters. Like Tom Riddle's tie. *points at icon* I've been wondering for a while, actually--where did this pic come from? It looks like a publicity still, but I've not found it anywhere, only the commonly found one where he isn't holding the diary. Anybody know?

Oh, and--not like any of you haven't heard of it already--mctabby is a wonderful wonderful person for starting the Riddlefics list. *schnoogles the tabby*

I hope to have the next installment of Within These Pages up within a week, but I can't make any promises given the state of my life. I may take Thursday night after 3D class as a celebratory relaxation point to write smut and such. And I haven't forgotten about the Lucius/Molly fic. It's breeding, I promise. Along with much speculation on the undergarments of purebloods.

Surely Molly is a nickname, and I'm trying to remember what it's a nickname for. Does Marianna or some variant thereof sound like a plausible full name for her? It's not really supposed to fit her personality even in her late teens (never mind when she becomes a mother), but I still want it to be there for my nefarious porpoises. (Actually, it's not a particularly angsty bunny, but it's fun to say porpoises.)

The Files part of Riddlefics now has a note to the effect that fics should be in HTML or as .txt files, preferably, since some people can't open MS Word files.

Though circumstances oblige me to use this here PC, I'm still a Mac girl at heart. :)

Golly. I was going to upload it, but after it was finished. I mean, what I'm posting here is unbetaed first draft, and I'd prefer to wait until I've gotten it done, checked it at least for characterization, run it past somebody with a red pen, and possibly exsanguinated the first three scenes before I stick it up anywhere else.

Unless you insist. I'm not nearly as WIP-mother-henly with this piece as I am with some others.

Oh, I do understand what you mean about waiting - but couldn't you think of it as a test run or something? I mean, before it's all finished and revised and archived somewhere. (Thought about where to put it? Snitchfiction.net and/or RestrictedSection.org?)

At this point it would be very encouraging to see someone post a good fic on the list itself, not uploaded to files. I think people might be hanging back and waiting for somebody else to go first...

You Have Good Fic. :P You wouldn't say no to some more feedback on it, would you? And it's already been mentioned on the list several times.
