That was the first episode of Dr. Who I saw when I decided it was time to educate myself about The Doctor. It was a really depressing episode.

I started from the beginning of the new series, so it wasn't the first I saw, but it was the episode when my opinion went from 'okay, neat show, well done' to 'HOLY FUCK MORE NOW.' Then again, I like dark telly.
