Oh, perfectly understable...I don't have much time to read, so I tend to pass over much of what comes up on my flist and go by recs. (Or, when I'm really desperate, keyword-searching for "Jack Harkness" and "BDSM" on Teaspoon. Luckily I found you. ;))

And yet now it's changed form again! Just Ten/Jack, switching, with Greek section titles. AUGH MY BRAIN.

Also trying to decide whether to write it before the canon reunion--so that it's out there in case the bunny gets retconned--or wait until after so I can play off canon, with the risk that it may die by RTD. alsdkfjlsjf. I'd like to think he's not likely to retcon the idea that Ten and Jack might shag, given how he writes. But he likes fucking with us!

I do so love people's creativity in coming up with first-time situations though, which is why I prefer that to established relationship fic so much of the time, at least when the established relationship fic doesn't actually explore or develop or do anything. XD

I fear it very much, especially given the various different versions of what happens that are floating out there in spoiler space, contradicting each other. And it would be very RTD to go a completely different direction than what people expect. I'd be sad, though, if Ten and Jack didn't at least have some rapport going.

(I've seen people speculate that the relative lack of Ten/Jack right now is because people are afraid of being Jossed. I certainly am. Eep.)

Yeah, if it's just 'these people having sex in approximately the same way they've had sex before,' I generally only read if it's a pairing I seriously like and I'm in the mood for Random Smut.

(On the other hand, let's not go into my thing for 'one member of an established couple introduces another to bondage' or somesuch. -.-)

I fear it too. Part of why I've been avoiding spoilers for this season beyond what I already know (episode titles, when Jack's coming back, the fact that a certain other fellow with a pretentious title and no name has been cast) is that I don't want to expend too much mental energy wibbling about Ten/Jack possibilities.

I find it very unlikely that RTD could or would set it up so that there's no possibility whatsoever that we could write them shagging. We are fic writers, after all, and even if there's not time on screen, where there's a will, there's an AU. But specific bunnies may well still be Jossed the hell out.

Oh, good, I can talk about Pretentious Title Guy without spoiling you, yay! Aside from Jack, I'm also very excited about the possibilities of Ten/Said Person. 'Cause now, that's some awesome fucked up history right there.

Oh, the possibilities with Said Person are delighting me. After all, we never see the TARDIS in End of Days...and consider what Said Person wants more than anything in all the universe, and consider who has it. XD

...I suspect the last three episodes of this season are going to make me porn all over the place. Ten + Jack + Martha + Said Person are just too rife with possibility, however things end up.

Haven't read because I'm not entirely sure I know enough about the others--have seen only a smattering of the old series, after all.
