The Ohtori Academy Alumni Association is pleased to request your presence at the Ohtori Academy Class of (date smeared and illegible) Ten-Year Reunion at the Suzaku Hotel in Minato, Tokyo.

Program and dancing will begin at eight o'clock, and it will all be over at the stroke of midnight.

A reunion is the perfect opportunity to encounter those you thought you'd never see again and experience memories you thought were behind you forever. Don't miss out on this one final opportunity.

No registration fee; all invitees are welcome. Refreshments will be served. RSVP absolutely required.

[livejournal.com profile] yunatwilight and I--well, mostly her--have been working on this game for several months now. From what I've seen of my character sheet and heard of her random ravings (as is inevitable), it is bloody brilliant. A whole lot of amazing writing, and a game which promises to be an exquisite mindfuck.

We still have several player and GM slots for the first run, and many for the second. So please, for your sake and for ours, if you are in the area and either Utena-literate or LARP-experienced, consider giving this a go!

*clears throat, not an easy task at the moment with the cold*

IT WILL ROCK. PLAY! PLAAAAAAAY, MY PRETTIES!

I definitely want to play, but my LARPing experience is minimal at best and I get the impression I'm going to need to be on Boston on specified dates.

Dude, we'd love to have you!

Minimal LARPing experience is okay; you know Utena, which is going to make a lot of things easier.

This is a theater-style LARP: you're handed a character sheet with everything you need to know, your character's history, relationships, etcetera. Since you know the series, you'll be able to draw on your knowledge of canon--although this is ten years in the future, so there's a lot of extrapolation. But still, I've found it easier than bring-your-own-character LARPs.

I forget when Long Weekend is...the two runs are March 17th and April 7th. Depending upon timing, I may be willing to do a Bennington run, particularly if we wind up with a few Benningtonian players. (Must...molest...Wren...)

I think we'd have a very good base of Utena fans here at Bennington. I've been carrying on your legacy. We did Utena screenings last term and I'm doing them again this term (hopefully in Tishman or the Student Center). There's this wonderful freshman girl in McCullough, Kelly, who's a big Utena fan too who'd probably be really into it, and obviously I've been converting other people.

By all means, pimp away! We've got plenty of space for players, and it will be an excellent game.

(Especially if you can find a driver. I *can* go up there, but it's two six-hour round trips in a weekend.)

Bennington run, as in make a trip out to Bennington to ferry people into the city for the game, or Bennington run as in set a third date with a third cast at Bennington?

The former is easy enough, the latter could get dicey. We still need a lot of people for the second cast as it is!

Bennington run as in ferry people. It's a LOT of driving (and of course depends upon having Hieronymous back from the snow), but would be worth it for extra players, I think.

Oi boy, I didn't know you mean ferry people. That'd be ridiculous. I have a car, and it's less actually driving there than it is availability (aaaaahh, work!) and gas money.

So I'm desperately curious how this went. Since I have no way to participate in any such thing. *sigh*

Though I have to wonder if such a thing could be run at, say, Nan Desu Kan.
