Was going to write a long rambling post about my progress in FFX, but got distracted by making icons. Yay icons. Transparency is my new favorite thing, but cutting Tidus' hair out of a background is HARD, which is why I'm only posting one icon.

I am resisting the urge to start flinging things your way.

Date: Jul. 22nd, 2006 01:50 pm (UTC)A little more levelling up in the Omega dungeon and then I think I'm ready to go...would kinda like to break the damage limit for at least one person (probably Lulu, although maybe Wakka, must collate data as to who's pushing 9999 most often) whose celestial weapon is too much of a PAIN to get powered up, but that means capturing five of every monster in the game, and mergh.
Poor Tidus in this particular shot also happens to be against an insanely complicated background, so I'm just cutting him out by hand. Got everything but the hair so far...

Date: Jul. 22nd, 2006 03:14 pm (UTC)I'd say you're almost ready now. Get the rest of the Jecht Spheres, maybe push for Tidus's third Overdrive. Use the Black and White Magic Spheres to pick up a couple of things here and there (at least one other person should have Hastega) and just dive in.
You can always go back and level more if it's too much for you, anyway.

Date: Jul. 22nd, 2006 08:12 pm (UTC)Instead I will just say that Lulu's 9999 + 9999 booms are sooooo much fun to watch.
I had Yuna tagging at Lu's heels in her sphere grid once Lulu hit the heavy artillery, and the two of them just owned, light and dark sisters. But you can get any of the characters up to Lethal Killing Machine depending on your bias.

Date: Jul. 23rd, 2006 01:51 pm (UTC)The boys had all reached the ends of their paths, so I kinda shuffled them--Tidus down Auron's for kickassness, Auron's down Wakka's for accuracy, and Wakka through a smidgin of Auron's to get to Tidus' because I wanted somebody else with the haste and slow spells. Kimahri I'd long been using as a backup black mage, and Rikku is now a backup cleric, starting from Curaga and working backwards down Yuna's. And, yeah, I gave this waaaaay too much thought.
Wakka is actually my strongest fighter at the moment, due to his detour through Auron's path, annoyingly enough, as I prefer to use Auron because he's SO much cooler or Tidus because he's SO much prettier. Shallow, me? Naaaaaaah.
