The wank-de-jour? I'm just hiding from. Hiding, hiding. Know too many people on too many sides of it, and tempers are running far, far too high. Especially because, as abundantly proved over the last two years, I seem to be the only person around who believes in forgiving and not taking it personally when people say crazy shit because their emotions are out of control or their point of view is not yours. :/

Well, and also because I'm kinda sliding off the back end of this fandom too. *clings to Devi and Lyko so we can all land on our butts together!*

Though before I slide off entirely, I do wonder: anybody know if anything happened with those fic oscars being batted around a while back?

Oh! They were the people who were upset at me? Better to leave it be then, I don't wanna get my reviewers worked up again when I just started getting people to delurk ::flail::

It was something they were in the preliminary plotting phase of. I assume that if/when it went public it would've gotten advertised across all the comms. I have a sneaking suspicion the idea died though. :/

Maybe I'll ask someday when the channel isn't kerfuffling or zoofic-plotting. (Which, believe it or not, does happen! XP)

Hmmm, bring it up, it's one of those things that deserves a litle attention, though the downside is people might start screaming 'elitist' all over again...

Well, in this case, I think we can ignore them. Giving awards to good fic isn't elitist, it's recognizing skill. But most people are idiots.
