It's from Myst III: Exile, the third of the Myst sequels, release date 2001, farmed out to Presto Studios because Cyan who made the original game was busy with Uru, written by Mary DeMarle, rushed and mediocre compared to the rest, but with a very cute mascot...

Ehhh, I'm a bigger fangeek about Myst than I am about just about anything else. Don't mind me. ^^;;

Exile is pretty easy, all told--I finished it in a weekend, albeit with a few hints.

Ah, I have no patience with puzzle games (or games in general to be honest) because generally, I suck at them ^^; I'm not good at puzzles. I like seeing everything first time through. I finished Riven by following the guide book (well, I had spent ages beforehand wondering what the hell I was meant to do). Still took me 7 hours of straight playing though ^^;

But it was gorgeous. Such beautiful graphics. And it was refreshing to play a game where there was no violence too.

I suck at games in general too; Riven took me aaaaaaaages. I refused to take hints on the games actually made by Cyan, but with Exile and Revelation I gave in.
