letterbladeShoutout to anyone who knows much chemistry: is there a reaction that could be performed quickly, at room temperature, with a few basic materials, that would produce a lot of impressive-looking but harmless smoke?
[Edit: chem problem solved, at least for the moment, because I belatedly remembered that I live with two MIT grads. -.-]
And, yes, it's for the fic. Which, btw, has broken the word requirement! *dances*
State of the Fic:
Words: 11,906 out of >10,000.
Sections finished: 20.
Sections in progress: 2.
Sections unstarted: 2.
Complete first draft wanted by: a little less than four hours from now, including lunch break. Or I can write those last two scenes on the train to the girlfriend and send the whole thing from her house later in the afternoon. One of the two. I have the painful suspicion this is either going to be one of the more brilliant things I've ever coughed up or a complete and total failure. Totally not sure which. Wibbbbbbbbble! ;_; *mad artistic running around in circles like transmuted chicken*
