Ahhh, vacation...
Jul. 19th, 2005 11:04 amSafely in Maine. Relearning how to row. Having auditory hallucinations of mosquitos. Loafing. Befriending dogs. Being frightened by small children. Confronting an inexplicable urge to write even more Hughes/Roy/Ed, which I have of course done.
Regular computer access not happening, but I may get one or two more chances to post and check.
Have obtained HBP; the girlfriend and I are reading it aloud to each other. Currently on chap. 21; I may break and finish it alone soon. I'll probably make more substantial (and lj-cut) comments later, but for now I have exactly one thing to say...
*does the I'm Psychic Dance*
'Course, there are problems with the rest of the fic, but meh. Lexicon may be retconnable again, but I haven't finished the book yet, so I'm trying not to think too much about it. But Slughorn fighting Coulter for Head of House? Wouldn't *that* be amusing?
Maine is, of course, beautiful. Will perhaps be able to have pictures upon return, due to friends with digital cameras. Currently fairly foggy and damp, bright and white, with outlines of islands in the distance.
Missing you guys. I'm happy here, but I'll be happy to be back too--and FMAmoviewheeeeeee.
*rambles off, muttering about Augusta Longbottom*

Date: Jul. 23rd, 2005 02:16 pm (UTC)(The point being, I had, totally independently, given her that name in a fic I started writing about, oh, three years ago.)
