The Tatnuck Cafe Barista Song
Jan. 30th, 2006 10:16 pmI have a little cafe
It's never very full
But Monday in the evening
It's really deathly dull
No muffins, scones, or lattes
No customers at all
The tables clean and empty--
And I just want to bawl!
To be sung, of course, to the tune of "I have a little dreidel."
That explains today. Yesterday was seeing Brokeback Mountain for a second time with
telepwen and a mutual friend. The day before was hanging out at the mall with
telepwen, discovering that Hostel was not playing, and instead going home and watching A Knight's Tale. (Thus experiencing two extremes of Heath Ledger in quick succession.)
One of the mini shredded wheats I just ate was eerily deformed. If I start glowing green, we know what happened.
Back on topic, Knight's Tale kicked major ass. Alan Tudyk makes a very nice redhead. Dear Chaucer rocked my world, my pants, and my fondness for casual nudity. I haven't had that much slashy fun with a movie since watching The Lost Boys late one night when I was bored.
Does Chaucer/Wat exist? Or, really, I'd prefer Wat/Chaucer? With wackiness and thonging? *makes with the puppyeyes*
