Two new-canon PSAs for two fandoms:
Aug. 6th, 2005 10:34 amFMA: I'm not reading (and thus not posting) spoilers for the movie, because I like all my surprises firsthand, when I can actually finally see the thing, even if it's a while. (Especially with something as delightfully and shockingly plot-twisty as FMA. Spoilers would make me saaaaad.) So consider this journal an FMAmovie spoiler-free zone, for what it's worth.
HP: A rather more personal PSA, that being a survey of impact on my main WIPs.
Lexicon: Retconnable--in fact, Slughorn will make things even more interesting. (Don't worry, Coulter will still be there. Slughorn will be jockeying him for Head of House. Should be fun.) I'll do it if and when I go further--read, finish chapter 5--and, of course, repost the new version to all relevant sites. (Two books of retcon and four chapters. Sigh. Stupid slow writing.)
Sidhe and Nails and Sugar Cube Trails (aka the OLDfic): Would be a fair bit of work to retcon, because of the Merope issue (Tom's mother does drive most of the plot) and some smaller stuff. I could do it, but it would probably honestly make the fic less interesting, not more, and I'd rather just finish it someday when I'm ready and get it off my paws. So I probably won't retcon, just post with a note.
Of course, I have large piles of much more insistent FMAbunnies to work through first. I always have too much on my plate, and I hate it. *sigh*
