Ayup.

New fandom, new Rocky casting.

Why can't I stop doing this? I didn't even try! It just popped in there!

Must say, though--my favorite part of doing a Rocky casting is discovering all the inadvertant and often bizarre pairings that ensue by correlation.

Mal (in a bonnet) as Frank'n'Furter.

Jayne (stoned) as Rocky.

Simon (constantly prompting River) as Brad.

Kaylee (squeeing over getting to sleep with shiny people) as Janet.

Wash (wearing a brontosaurus instead of a bald cap) as Riff-Raff.

Zoe (slightly drunk, but only slightly) as Magenta.

River (displaying mad tap-dancing skillz) as Columbia.

Book (under duress) as Doctor Scott.

Inara (under considerably more duress) as The Narrator.

However, the performance snowballs when, rather than letting anybody else double as Eddie and so dance with his sister, Simon insists upon quick-changing into Mal's coat and Jayne's hat (pick one) and performing "Hot Patootie" while deadpan and pale as a fish, causing River to start playing air-saxaphone, and, well, it all goes downhill from there.

Humorous interludes aside...all right, Firefly rocks, Fox sucks, I'm sure any Firefans out there know the deal. Any fic recs? Good slash particularly welcome, as always. Characters of interest as of yet: Mal, Book.
