Bad. Ass.

Have found new role model of badassness. Integra Hellsing. Oh, yeah. No woman, even in anime, should be allowed to be that manly with butt-length blond hair. Chills!

Hellsing much joy in general. Much badass, good for study breaks. Quotient of peope who are badass while wearing little round glasses higher than any other thing I know of. In fact, only thing I can think of with any others is Trigun. Badass with Glasses. That's what it should be called.

Am watching dub (pirated .avies, so I don't have a choice), which is amazingly good. Victoria has adorable British accent. (A four-poster coffin.) Integra is exquisite, of course. Alucard middling--want to see original someday, because he's voiced by Joji Nakata, who did Folken in Esca, so that's got to be excellent. Adding Hellsing to the abominably short list of well-dubbed anime, to join Bebop, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away.

But...but...Integra...indescribable squee. Off to rewatch that scene when she blows up during the harried meeting with the Knights.
