The name that song meme!

Done with the influential music playlist, which I'm not quite finished assembling yet, but which is functional. (This is a playlist full of music that I've been obsessed with at some point or another, that I've spawned characters to, that I have deep associations with, etc. Terrible variety.)

Gacked from loads of people. If you haven't met this one: I take a playlist, put it on random, pick out the first twenty songs (with lyrics, in English because I'm too lazy to deal with translation), and write down my favorite line from each. You try to figure out what the hell they are.

When geometry meets prose.

I have just realized that if I write a 1200-word story in twelve paragraphs of a hundred words apiece I could call it a dodecadrabble. Maybe even if I didn't divvy it up into paragraphs like that. I could still call it a dodecadrabble. It's just a good word. Dodecadrabble. I feel like I should start the Dodecadrabble Challenge or something. I mean, dude, dodecadrabble!

I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too amused by this.

In other news, there are songs yet to be named. Some of them I don't expect anybody to get, I will admit. But I'm shocked that the snakey portion of the Fiendslist has let two Sisters songs pass unnamed.

My girlfriend's writing a paper on the role fanfiction plays in the fantasy lives of pre-teens and adolescents, with a fandom focus in Harry Potter (both because she's read the books and because it's a good fandom in which to study such things). If anyone knows of any essays on the topic, or information or opinions or ideas which might be useful, please post!
