Yes, I'm alive.
Dec. 21st, 2003 11:32 amThe end of term took a lot out of me this year. A lot. And there's some stuff I have yet to sort out. *cringes*
But in the meantime, I shall consider the fun stuff:

Currently rereading RoTK and the bits of TTT that didn't make it into the movie; 'cause I know the end of the trilogy rather less well than I know the beginning, and I'm preparing to see it.
Have slept a lot, thank the gods.
Recieved two of my three presents--the Utena and the Bebop--on Friday. Will have Christmas money from relatives as well; will probably by more anime. *makes happy noises*
And I owe several writers in the Bebop fandom very long emails, yes I do. And at least one Bennington friend a phone call.
Red Bird Roulette has begun to haunt me again. I'm not done with Spike and Vicious; I just don't know where to start with any sort of other story or sequel, or how to set up the last few things I want to say.
My major fandom writing goal, though, is to finish the OLDfic in time to post it on Jan. 20th, the one-year anniversary of starting it. Also to figure out what the squee is up with the fourth chapter of Lexicon, as it is now attempting to split into two chapters, which is throwing off most of my structural plans... *burble*
And I've had the sudden urge to finish off some of my old Evafic. Mainly because of him. *points at icon* Yup, he's the male character who ate my brain in that fandom. (Lon Suder, from Star Trek; Lucifer, from Sandman; Achenar, from Myst; Dilandau, from Escaflowne; Kaworu, from Evangelion; Tom Riddle, from Harry Potter; Spike Spiegel, from Cowboy Bebop. And, I suppose, Egon Spengler and Gambit (or possibly Longshot?), if you look back to my disinherited work from Ghostbusters and X-Men. And Edward from the Anita Blake series, though I never much over there. The only fandom I can't think of one for is Utena, and I've barely written anything in that, just a few shreds of Touga/Miki (with a dash of Akio). Quite an interesting assortment of people, all told. o.O) But there was this Shinji/Kaworu smut I was working on at one point, and I look back at it and it's really rather good and full of awkward and uncertain and intense boylurve, just as a fourteen-year-old angstbomb and a perky gay boy of doooooooom should be. And I had some interesting theories about the world after the Third Impact. But I digress.
