Let me see...news, news, news.

News part one: New bunnies. So Sayeth Death basically expanded itself. Seven interconnected shorts (wow, I like doing that), half important events in Tom's life, half mythological meditation. Very different mood from anything I've done before, and they'll probably sit on the back burner as I accumulate material...trepanning and the cultures that practice it, the myth of Odin's hanging and the cult that arose around it, Christian gospels, the Shiva mythos, shamanism versus madness and the initiation death, British fairie folklore... *burbles*

News part two: I may--read may, if I can clear it with Bennington---be performing with And So No Sin at the Movement Works In Progress concert at Mobius. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It's a bit of a long story, but squeeeeeeeeee! I get to dance again! And do stage combat with my mohawked cow-orker to random funny British music! YAYAYAY!

News part three: Mooched around in tiny bookstore in South Station. Name familiar from the rantings of a certain Fiend caught my eye, so I walked away with a copy of A Song for Arbonne. Now, with my luck, I'll probably have said Fiend telling me that that's the least recommended of his books, just because I have brain cramps that way, but... o.O I peeked inside. It's pretty.

News part four: I am now experiencing FAP chat. Soooo many people I don't knooooow... o.O

Scarf: Four stripes finished, and that's with recent loss of steam.

Oh, A Song for Arbonne is fabulous! Personally, I think it's my favorite Guy Gavriel Kay novel. I think it speaks very strongly to musicians, and probably to other artists, as well. Hope you like it!

Oooh... A Song for Arbonne...

Even if it's the least recommended of GGK's works (which I can't imagine it being), it would still be pretty damn good =) It's one of my personal favorites, that's for sure. Loff it.
