I'm sorry I've been so out of touch--currently homeless (long story), amongst other problems, and do not have much time to deal with fandom stuff.
One concern, one request:
The concern is: I don't know what the ettiquette is with this sort of thing, but I had two other people requested permission for a Russian translation, maria_barring and aldhissla18. (The translation requests have been on hold--I've done a lot of necessary revision, though I still have a few more sections to fill in the next time I get the time and a friend's computer. But I know the contest is coming up soon, and I'll try to either finish the revision or have a copy I can let you have.) I really don't know whether this is going to be a translator turf war or what, but if you want to contact them and check and so forth, there you are.
(Personally--I don't have an issue with there being multiple translations out there, but I know translation can be a lot of work, and I'd hate to have three people spending their time on the same thing due to not knowing other people are doing it.)
The request: could I have a link to the contest?
When would you need an English copy by? If it's a week or so, I could probably get you the final version--I hope to have it done soon, I just need to find the computer time and focus. I admit that I'm not happy with the idea of having the unfinished version out there more than it already is, but I know you have a deadline and I've been nonexistent and such. :/
