I got *lods* of issues with Kenshin, but I love it somehow. I'm thinking about sacrificing my sensibilities regarding bawdlerized translations and acquiring some Samurai X (ptui) versions, just to have the sooooo much cleaner and prettier visuals.

I hate spoilers and I try not to give them. There is, however, something it would have been nice for me to know about the general...shape and function of the show. If you don't want to be told - or have already read pretty much any reviews and thereby already know anything I might have said - no worries. If you don't mind, say, and I'll promise to be vague.
