Fic-related memeage...
Oct. 15th, 2005 12:45 pm'Cause I need a motivational kick in the ass, wot? *thwaps partial writer's block*
Both of these gacked from pretty much everybody. And they both start in the same place: go to my fic archives and pick a fic! (Officially Completed Fic in most fandoms; Officially Completed Fic in the Myst fandom; my memories, which contain all ficbits ever posted on LJ, as well as some mostly-finished fics, recent and otherwise, that I simply have yet to polish off and post properly.)
Now once you've chosen something you can either:
-request a "director's commentary" on it. (Depending upon the fic you may not get a terribly extensive one; I suspect I won't be able to muster more than a paragraph or two on most of my old HP stuff. But it should be fun, wot?)
OR
-post a line from it (but not something utterly generic; give me a fighting chance!) and see if I recognize what the fic is. And if I stump you, you get a ficletrequest that I will try my damndest not to flake out on. ^^;;; (I'll probably cap requests at five or ten, because I need to work on other stuff too, but hey, motivation, right?)
OR both. XD
( Why the writer's block? )
I've been really curious about the posting-lines-challenge-meme-thing for a while, actually, because I tend to feel like most things I write get burned into my brain, but at the same time I have a shit memory in general. So I suppose I want to test myself, see which of those is true in this case.
