letterbladeSchool has been chewing me up and spitting me back out in little shreddy pieces, which might twitch ocasionally but have no semblance of consciousness or life. Hitting emotional rock bottom (or something close) due to relationship stuff during midterms is not good. Because then you start putting stuff off, and then the post-midterm crunch weighs you down so damn much you can't get up again.
Might be able to start playing Revelation a bit in the next day or two. *squeak*

pornish_pixies's Fantasy Fest. And it's due in a week at the latest. So I need a speed-beta, hopefully within a few days, mostly to make sure the piece has the wanted effect and I don't do anything stupid. The request is Voldemort having sex with Riddle (diary-restoration has occured, and I know how) to transfer power to a new body. Any takers? Tabby, would you be up for a quick read, or should I go a-hunting?
Other than that, no fun fandom news here. Niggling feeling thatutena_inscribed is dying its little not-quite-gotten-off-the-ground death, but I don't have the time to do CPR. Deep urge to start writing Escaflowne fanfic again. (Been ripping that series for AMV-purposes, because that's the sort of thing I can do in little bits of free time that involves no serious brainpower. Come to the conclusion that what I really love about it and what really strikes me as unique is the world development--the sense of place in the different countries, the different cultures with their different decorative senses and political attitudes and everything.) Still haven't found the time to install processor and Revelation; might be doing that tomorrow night, after I finish the ten-page essay that's due tomorrow afternoon and some reading for the next day.
