A few bits of uninteresting fandom news:
Oct. 8th, 2004 12:44 amMyst: Have ordered my copy of Revelation. Tomorrow will be ordering the new processor I'll need to play it. *wibbles extensively about updating both the part of her brain which resides in her computer and the part of her brain in which resides Achenar*
Utena:
utena_inscribed has now reached chai members. (Yes, I'm Jewish. Bite me.) Now all we need is for somebody to post something other than an intro. Maybe I'll have to finish fic over the weekend, god help me. *goes cross-eyed*
Magic (okay, it's not really a fandom, but it's geeky enough to be): Helped a friend field-test his Type II decks for a tournament. Squished his blue-white control/indestructible angels deck with my blue-black control/discard/pain deck with only three lands. By the time I actually drew my fourth land, all the key cards were in place and it was useless. And this isn't exactly a fast deck.
It also gave me a chance to use, two games in a row, what has come to be one of my favorite openings. "Swamp, rack, go."
I think this is actually the first time I've Magic-geeked in this journal. I need more icons now. Actually, I need more icons anyway. Sigh.
