It's passing strange...

...to go out your door and see two dried splats of your blood on the floor outside.

It's not as bad as it sounds. I had a demonically fierce, if brief, nosebleed, and couldn't quite catch all of it as I ran down the hall to the bathroom. But there's still my blood on the floor.

I know! I used to get really bad nosebleeds, and the strange thing about them is how much blood they get all over everything with so little pain. ("oh, of course this one's your test; none of the others have blood on them." "I haven't finished cleaning the blood off the counter yet." "Sorry there's blood on this book!" etc.)
