Olympic realization of the day:
Apolo Ohno is REALLY FUCKING PRETTY.
He's also named Apolo, with one L, WTF, but mainly he's PRETTY.
One also turns up some amusing shit when google image searching him--
--[okay so technically that was from last Olympics but he stumbled this one and didn't make finals so sue me] but hey, the first image to come up he was shirtless, so I ain't complaining.
Shaun White the showboarder is also v. easy on the eyes and smexy in action (although I am kinda sad that snowboarders have those huge baggy ghetto snowsuits so we can't ogle them in spandex like the rest), and bears a disturbing resemblance to GoF Ron. Or maybe another Weasley. Maybe he's the lost Weasley brother--squib, quietly adopted out to the US, proved a brilliant showboarder. Who knows? But it amuses the shit out of me that they call him the flying tomato. Go redheads! Also go Finns! There were quite a few of them snowboarding. The commentators think that they got good at half pipe tricks because they have no mountains.
No redheaded Finns though. :/
And, yes, I only take an interest in sports once every two years (though much more in winter than in summer), why do you ask? XP

Totally! We've been saying that all night. He's really quite adorable. Apolo Ono would be cute too, if he'd shave off that damned goofy-looking soul patch.

For some reason I still think he's cute. XP I know I should be wondering why he needs a "face ends here" sign patched on his chin, but somehow it just holds together to my eyes. Either that or I'm just a sucker for speed skaters--heck, I was obsessed with them as a small child.
